The diagram I posted for a 91-92 se-r will help you get there, what you will have to do is get the NX cluster and label/ locate and cross check your NX cluster wiring. Then from there it's cake, for our b13's most of the wires from the pigtail to the stock wiring are the SAME COLORS. Made it a hell of a lot easier.

(Also, you will need an electronic speedo. You can just wiring the speedo straight into the NX pigtail. Then the one Speedo signal wire on the original harness will goto the ecu.)

Good luck, if you try it. Just post if ya need help. Me and Sunny got down and dirty on this for a couple days and both managed to make it happen =p. Good job btw Sunny

No offense.

hahaha, MOJO, I think this will be roughly the 10th time I've seen you post this =p

Plug your pigtail into the cluster, then trace and label all the wires from the cluster. After you do that, come back here.

only think i might have an issue with is changing the speedo. as of right now, i am running a b15 trans on my 94 b13, i am using a 91 engine harness so the speedometer isnt working at all right now. i never replaced a speedo before so might their be any complications with it? i read up a little hear on the forum and i am reading that i need to wire the speedo directly into the cluster, not to go through the ECU. how do i do that? do i just run the green/white and black/red wire from the back of the cluster right into the speedo? SOMEONE HELP ME BEFORE I GO INSTALLING THIS THING TOMORROW AND GET FED UP!

Yes. Not sure about the colors though, but yes.

I don't know where people got the idea that the speedsignal goes from the ECU to the cluster, when it's actually the other way around.

How does one find out what year their nx1600 cluster is?

It doesn't matter what year the cluster is, all digital clusters have the same principle as the 1993< cluster, i.e. electrical. The only difference is that the digital clusters require a different sensor. So a stock 1993 speed sensor can't be used (which would result in the half-speed problem).

ok now i have a question if the speedo signal is wired into the SPEEDO itself do you still need the correct SPEEDO for the cluster ?
