X2. By far the best place also for running the power line of any size.
What I did on mine was there was this 3, maybe 4 in circle right at about where the glove box is and I ran my 0 gauge through there... Cut a hole in the rubber with a razor and then ran it through my car... When I bought my eclipse this guy had ran the wire through the fender and everytime the door shut it would pinch the wire =\

Can also cut a slit in the rubber grommet where the engine harness goes through the firewall and feed the power wire through there. The hole is plenty big enough for even a 0 gauge wire.
