2 ohm or 4 ohm out of the headunit- Bose
I read a post somewhere that said the bose 100watt system in my 01 p11 is 2 ohm. I don't think that's right, but wanted to confirm.
I'm planning on putting in a sub. Grabbing the signal at the rear speakers and before the bose amp and running it into my sub amp. Then just then use the high/low filter on my sub amp to cut the signal to 80hz.
I have a cap and I think it's 1watt and my sub amp is 1000 watts. Hopefully the alternator won't need to be upgraded. It would be even better even I didn't need the cap but don't need any headlights flickering.
Let me know what you think about the 2 vs 4 ohm and how powerful that alternator might be.
Thanks
