Door speaker depth 01-g20
Are the door speakers 6.5" or 7? What the deepest speaker than will fit?

Thanks

I love the Bose system, get an aftermarket headunit that can put out 50w per speaker and you will have excellent sound. They are also cheap to buy.

Can't really do that in Miami unless you want your window broken. It needs to look stock and not bump as the natives here follow you home.

I have some nice car audio in boxes, Seas Tweets, Moral mids, active xover, 16 band eq, 1500 watts and a 10" elemental design sub in a sealed box. I also have a tuned box to 30hz and a Nakamichi HU with 4v preotus. I have the dynamat, the door sealers, a cap, all my wire including RCA's for everything. I also have some dayton rs-80s, and a set of focals.

What's my massive audio upgrade path for this g20?

I have on order these $10.00 a-pillar drivers and that's probably it. $15 Bose sound upgrade. P11 - G20.net - Forums

I asked this size question to see if I can get those Focals in there without cutting on the car.

I don't know anything about Bose other than what my son calls it; "Buy Other Sound Equipment" but for the dash to look stock it has to stay for now.

I personally like Bose, I used to have a Sentra with a Sony head unit and Polk audio, and I still got crispier and bassier music from my wife's P11. I've not switched to a p11 myself. Running a Sony headunit and stock speakers with foam baffles.

I understand about keeping it looking stock, your options are fairly limited. Also keep in mind if you do switch headunits you have to do an amp bypass.

I'm going for more highs first, can't even hear the tweeters in the pillars and for $10.00 pnp it makes some sense to try.

We spend the first $1000.00 to get 90% of the sound then another $1000.00 for another 5%. There's a law of diminishing returns here and if I can just get close to pretty good, that will likely be good enough until I decide if I'm going to keep this car.
