Viper Alarm
Im going to be getting a viper alarm for my b14. My question to you guys is, do you think its worth spending the extra money for a 2 way alarm or should I just stick with a viper alarm with the basic ammenities? Here is what I deciding between:

VIPER 5902 REMOTE START RESPONDER CAR ALARM HD SST NEW | eBay

VIPER 5901 LC3 CAR ALARM REMOTE START SYSTEM 2 WAY NEW! | eBay

VIPER 5301 RESPONDER LE 2-WAY CAR REMOTE START SYSTEM | eBay

Besides the fact that the 2 ways have the capabilities of notifying me of any activity around my car, is it really necessary? I mean, I would think that the alarm alone would be enough to do the job. If so, I wouldn't want to dish out the extra $150-$250 for the more expensive alarms.

the responder alarms are soo sick they let u know if u forgot to arm ur system and if ur alarm goes off the remote beeps and vibrates. the newer ones work like up to a mile away, and some u can use ur phone or internet to check it

Thank you sir. Looks like I will be going with a 2-way alarm as well as one of the DEI brands.

The ebay seller that I was thinking about purchasing from has a no-hassle lifetime warranty. In the event that anything goes wrong, I will simply get a replacement in exchange.

I used to install DEI alarms/remote starts and they are by far the easiest to install and have a lot of nice options. If installed correctly the do not fail. I doubt i have seen more than 1 brain fail in the whole 3 years i did installs. If installed incorrectly they will have all sorts of problems.

I bought a 5901 for my car, the LCD screen is nice and the range is what you want. For me the price difference was not that much so i went for the 5901 instead of the 5902.

That's the key. Many many people don't know the proper way to install them. Those that do will say that DEI products (like Viper) are among the top tier for auto alarms/remote starts
