Thread: Recommendations for loud, non-girly car horn.

I'm aware of the logarithmic nature of decibel ratings. However, sound pressure levels are measured that way because we roughly perceive sound levels in a logarithmic nature. So while 130 dB might be roughly 100x more in sound pressure level than 120 dB, we still perceive it as only a bit louder.

FWIW, the Titan/Armada horn should be plenty loud. Especially on a small car...

The sound just won't travel as far or penetrate loud music.

Which horns did you get? I have some on my car off of a 2005 or so Dodge 2500 Cummins truck... I like 'em..

Just placed an order on amazon for these two. I'm tired of the stock crappy discs. Should be able to mount them in the stock locations on the G20.

It sounds almost identical to the video honestly.

I got a chance to use them earlier, they got someones attention for sure They say on the packaging in really small letters 132db.

I would recommend this mod for sure! Especially how cheap they are on Amazon.
