THIN - High End 6.5" speakers for Front Doors - B13
I am having a hard time finding decent High End speakers for the front of my B13.

Diamond Audio used to make a set of D6 speakers that fit, but they no longer make ones that are thin enough for the fronts, and I have heard they are no longer a decent company (sold out like Rockford Fosgate in the late 90's)...

anyway...

If anyone has any insight to some great 6.5" speakers (components preferrably) that will fit in the doors of a B13 without modifying the panel.. please chime in.

thanks,

-Matt

I think you might be able to pull off the Cavalier Speaker mod that the p10 guys do on their doors to go with the bigger 6.5 speaker...

If I had a B13 I'd throw a pair of these in the front doors...

CL-E61NEOX - CDT Audio 6.5" Neodymium Slim Coaxial Speakers

interesting.. I'm usually not a coaxial fan.. but I'm willing to try anything. Do they offer a component set of the same speaker?

thats my

not impressed at with them,, we did a direct replacement for a customer that brought his own stuff in to be installed,,

on stock radio they might be fine but as far as I'm concerned they are overrated..

sorry for the neg, but I thought he was looking for highend and thats definitely not it!

don't get me wrong for the price there ok, tweeters are the best thing about them but nothing else appeals to me..

I've had Boston Acoustics Pro Series 5 1/4 component sets that I have been REALLY happy with.. more so than their 6.5" (neither size will fit in my doors)

I also had a set of Diamond D6 6.5" components that I bought back in 2004 that sounded REALLY nice and fit in my B13 doors.

Are the CDT at least as good as the above mentioned speakers?
