I rarely look at the tach when im getting on it cause by the sound of the engine I know its time to shift. I guess if you wanna get it right on the money every time, then this would bea good idea. I used to just have one hidden in my a/c vent. Didnt see it at all, but the light was there when you needed it.
It's not that I need it. Just looks like a neat little custom mod that should be fairly easy to do.
