RCA or AMP/ Headunit
Quick rundown. Right rear speaker cutting in and out. I swapped rca cables from front to rear on the amp output and the sound transfered to the front right cutting out. My brain in kinda on overload from work and other stuff. Does this sound like Cables or AMP output.

If you swapped the rca's and the cutting out followed, it's the rca cables.

If you have a problem with the rear right speaker, and the problem switches to the front right when you switch plus on the HU, it means the cable of the rear right speaker is okay, the cable of the front right speaker is ok, but the terminal of the "rear right" speaker on the Amp/HU is busted, which results in the front right speaker malfuctioning when hooking that up to the rear right terminal.

I bet you will have the same problem with the front left speaker when you hook that one up to the rear-right terminal.

Visualizing what you said, you disconnected the RCA cables from the front, and then disconnected the RCA cables from the rear, then plugged the RCA cables from the front channels to the rear channels of the amplifier. Then the issue with sound transferred.

With that said, RCA patch cable, or pre-amp out.

It is a brand new headunit so I doubt it is the HU. It is the AMP or cables.

I am a little confused, You swapped the RCA cables on the amp output? Did you swap speaker wires on the output of the amp or RCAs on the input of the amp? If you swapped RCAs it is either the cables or the radio, just because it is new does not mean its good. If you swapped speaker wires then it could be the amp, RCAs, or radio.
