Thread: Stock alarm / keyless?

I have a 97 200sx SE-R. Did not get any key fobs from the previous owner... Did all of these cars come with keyless entry? If i were to hop online and order a key fob, would I be able to just program it and go, or is there a possibility my car doesn't have the keyless option? I do have the red blinking alarm light in my cluster, and the alarm has gone off at times and i just use the key to turn it off... So I assume with a key fob + programming i should be good to go?

as far as i know all b14 se-r have alarm. buy the right fob, look up the programing online somthing like lock yourself in, insert and remove key (straight in and out no turning) untill hazards flash press lock button

and you should be good

i guess if you try to get it into program mode before you buy a fob you'll know 100% for sure

Programming Alarm Remote

Yeah, I had found the procedure for programming the fob. Just wasn't 100% sure I had the box to work it :P
