Thread: cluster swap questions!

i have to ask since im still pretty new to the Nissan B series chasis, whats the difference in the SE-L clusters? pic? i swapped my stock 96 200sx se to the white faced speedo and tach cluster. dont know if its the same or not just wondering.

ill be looking forward to your how to! lol and anyone know about how much one of those sensors is? could i just plug and play the sensor and only have to rewire the cluster?

You could just get the dash wiring from me from my partout. lol My GXE had a tach so all the wiring is there.

Check rockauto for that sensor I know for the nx2k sensor they are having a wholesaler closeout for like 37 bucks and its even cheaper with one of the 5% off discount codes you can find in the general sr20 section. I haven't looked but they might be doing the nx1600 digital sensor too. Or local junkyards those'd be cheaper too

Yeah, but wait until nrlulz recieves his, it's not certain if this is the auto or manual VSS.

ok, we will see..on the hunt for a cluster..either a nx1600 digital or a 200sx se cluster w/ tach..if anyone comes across one LMK! ill be searching as well..

if the se cluster is the white faced spedo & tach i have 1 laying around. also have a all black on but with white glow overlays all u have to do is wire it.

i found an nx1600 cluster on car-part.com
i gotta call them back in the AM..
