Well I got an email back from rockauto saying they don't actually stock any parts so they couldn't really tell me more about it... I'm just gonna take my chances and order it anyway. I've RMA'd parts with rockauto before it was pretty painless so I can if I need to

So I ordered the VSS yesterday, it's on its way, and some connectors today to make a nice neat harness out of all that crazy wiring just to make my life a little easier, I made the apparent mistake of using butt splice connectors for all the cluster wiring so it's pretty much a big disaster back there lol... Expect to hear something probably sometime next week when I get all my parts.

Got the sensor today, went to install it and guuuhhh I guess I didn't realize that the speed sensor was buried so far under there lol, I thought it was right under the air box for some reason... is there an easy way to get to that other than pulling everything out of there? Also the connectors are completely different:

So I'm going to have to splice it or something...

Anyways, here are some pictures of the new sensor:

It looks like the correct one, with the part that goes into the tranny solid and not like hollow-ish... also it came with no gear attached, so I'm hoping I can just swap the gear from my other sensor onto this one...

Nrlulz, u drive a B14 or B13? If it's a B13, then you have a weird connector on it :P.

That looks like the right sensor to me

Bout the updates: I got a new computer, and while transferring data from the protable harddisk/MP3 player I put all the files on, the HD crashed. I gotta start from scratch :S.

I'll see what I can whip up.

It's a B14 lol, and I still haven't done anything with it I have all my parts though I just haven't had the time to mess with it. Maybe this weekend though
