led change over
ok well i want to change every bulb in my car to led. i like the looks of them and they use less energy. questions i have is about the brake lights and turn singles. do i need anything besides the blubs to change these cuz they change bright ness or flash in basic use. what will it take to change over to led bulbs

for turn signals you might need to change your flasher..they are under the driver side dash..next to clutch pedal (if you have one..lol)

For turn signals you do need a new flasher otherwise it will just make this horrid grinding noise and not work, from superbrightleds where I got mine the part number is CF13JL-02 (for a B14 anyway), and for tail/brake lights (center brake light it doesn't seem to care) I think you need load resistors but I am running without them just fine, all that happens is if you have the cruise switch on (the one by the dimmer) and you push in the clutch while not braking the cruise light on the dash flashes... it's weird I know, but it only happened since I did the LED conversion. Everything else is pretty much straightforward pull out the bulb and put in the LED bulb

LED's are just as bright depending on the color you get. If you get the hyper white then they will look close to stock. I like going with the same color LED as the lenses to enhance the color. You will notice a more of a spot of light instead of the even illumination you get from an incandescent. And for your turn signals either replace the flasher as stated above or at a 2 Ohm 10W resistor in parallel to ground on each rear one and they will all work fine.

I'll try to remember to grab some pictures tonight, with the ones I got (signals, tails) there is not really any hotspot in the center like the cheap ones... it's actually very even and they are quite a bit brighter than stock

superbrightleds.com is one of the best places you can find for selection and prices.
