I do, I had a boost gauge and absolutely loved it

I'd really consider VDO gauges

Honestly, I bought the cheap Sunpro gauges at Autozone - thought I would try them out for the price. After reading the packaging and looking online I saw that they are an affiliate of Snap-On Tools. Made me feel better about them, and all of my gauges seem pretty accurate. I've had no issues

i have prosport water temp, oil temp and oil pressure and the only problem i had is the sender went bad on the oil pressure gauge and i sent it back and got a new one almost free of charge. Very easy install, warning lights that you can set from the face. and they look pretty sweet too.

VDO rocks. Simple, reliable, cheap. I can't stand all that flashy, 100memory, flickering Christmas lighted, full sweep, blah blah crap.

And they are the gauges of choice for Porsche, been in production models since the 60's. If it's good enough for a P-car, it's good enough for me.

I do agree that VDO is a great gauge, however I'm into that flashy lighted full sweep blah blah crap

I'm a tech junkie if you couldn't tell already, and gauges that light up crisp and bright, and are on the sexy side do me just fine. VDO gauges would be perfect if I wasn't concerned about how the looked when I'm driving. I just want things to pop at me

Which of these VDO gauges do you guys like?

VDO - Viewline

Inquiring minds want to know.

When I do my "Chriscar Clone" gauge set-up, I want it reliable as hell, and to look as close to an OEM-part as possible.

Here's a link to Chriscars setup:

That looks sweet. Factory clean.

Uhh, Shawno.....nice try to hijack TeKKiE's thread

But since you have given me the opportunity to showboat, enjoy a few photos of my gauge setup.

exactly why I liked them. + 1 for VDO vision. Though all the boost gauges sat a little negative of "0" they are still great.

Not sure how that is a thread-jack? .....

We're talking gauges. VDO gauges have been brought up several times. Chriscars set-up is OEM-clean.

Although Tekkie apparently wants flashy-bells-and-whistles.

That looks just like Chriscars. Except you used the bottom cubby-thing, and he put his at the top of the console where the stereo head-unit used to sit.

I think Chriscars are more easily visible than your location. ....

Tekkie, where are you placing your new gauges? Top cubby, bottom cubby, by/around the OEM instrument panel/steering wheel, or on the A-pillar pod like you have right now?

One reason I don't like the A-pillar pods is that they definitely do not look stock. Plus they are easily visible from outside the vehicle. Which causes me concerns with potential thieves, and/or Law Enforcement scrutiny.[/img]
