B14 projector retrofit
Well started out with a used set of lights. And seeing that my car is down and the weather sucks I decided to start on these a little. So far the lights are apart and I completely sanded the inside reflector area along with with the out side. Cleaned both inside and outside and painted with primer.

Main issue I has was that the form area of the mold where the reflector for the OEM bulb was, was touching the bottom of the projector a little. I felt that this was going to cause the projector to not sit completely the way it was intended. So I went ahead and cut it out. I also had some left over fiberglass board from my last job. So I cut it and adhered it with some epoxy. Once it's cured I will sand it down. And re paint it. You won't even notice it.

I will update more as I will be able to get out side and finish it.

Thanx... I went out and got a polish ball for the lenses. And soon I will be having Tearoffguy doing some light smoke tint over them to keep the oxidation away. I think they are going to be the best looking upgrade on my car.

I have the same ones in my car from the group buy I believe the build is in my signature (I'm on my crackberry), you already solved the one problem with the plastic stud removal, I find that the high beams aren't as good as they should be you might want to consider maybe adding a set of fog lights in the housing while you have it apart and hook them up to a relay so when you flip the highs on the fogs would come on, I'm going to do that very soon to mine, also if your using the stock lens the flutes in the plastic lens are great for scattering halogen light but not for hid's (well that's the reason for the projectors right to focus the hid beam not scatter it)
PS. don't forget you need a hole to run the selenoid wires out of, and if you want to see mine in person I live in wpb just send me a pm with your phone # and I can meet you somewhere

Well I already have stock fogs that are already pretty bright. ( silverstars ) And I will be upgrading those to HID also at some point. As for the lenses... Mine are clear. Yours are the 95-97 housing. Mine on the other hand are 98/99. So that's the main difference.

And I do plan on making a hole for the wire. It's going to be in the general area of where the cut out once was. Once's its done you won't even notice.
