Oh shnap!

Bryan - IMO, you should work out a plan to buy things in phases. Start off with a headunit (I'm personally a HUGE fan of Eclipse decks), then get yourself some decent mids and highs. Once you build this up, look for a simple amplifier and driver setup. Elemental Designs is GREAT for the price, and they don't need an overbearing amplifier to drive them. You can find a Rockford Fosgate 2 channel amplifer on eBay DIRT cheap.
