Thread: PLEASE HELP!!! Alarm wont let it start!

i drove the car all day today and i have an aftermarket alarm in the car... i went to start it tonight and the car all o a sudden set off the factory alarm... i dont have the fob for it. when i bought the car(this past week) i was never given one. and now the car will not start the factory alarm has disengaged the ignition cylinder and it wont let me start the car. please guys any ideas???? im desperate i want both alarms taken out but i also want t be able to start my car.

But your key in the driver door lock and turn the key to the right and it should disengage your factory alarm .. allowing you to start your car

i got it... that was partially it. but it had two alarms and the aftermarket pos prestige brand alarm was triggering things and it had an ignition killswitch on it too. therefore it triggered the stock one

if you would have removed the fused just aside the battery compartment which control so, then no problems. take your car to dealer and let him arrange things as per your desire
