Thread: 1157 led tail light bulb wiered problem

I bought a set of red led 1157 led tail light bulbs put them in drove home and when i was pulling into the garage i noticed the fog lights were going on when i hit the brakes and when i turned the lights on and hit the brakes they didnt get any brighter could this be solved with load resisters or is it a problem with the way the 200sx is wired I have hid conversion and foglight on w/parking light mod im trying to reduce the amount of power my car uses because I drive over 3000 miles a month

I tried to put those load resistors in, to see if it made a difference which it didn't, it only does it with the passenger side if i take out the led bulb and put the stock one back in it works normally i cant figure out what the problem is

is your fog light switch turned on? your foglights will only come on with the fog light switch on and headlights on. My thought is that your bulbs are put in backwards.... then again could be something even weirder... that's a good cheep fast and easy test, turn the bulbs around, I think this too because your bulbs don't get brighter with the brake light...
