Aftermarket Battery terminal question

can someone please tell me how (i know i'm an idiot) - the allan key connectors work?

There's a hole on the front, and an allan key that comes down to crush whatever is in there, but I dont know how to install something into there - do I need a specific type of connector or bare wire or what?

Bare wire for the left and right. Ring terminal for the middle.

Pretty much. Just make sure you use the correct gauge of wire. It looks like that terminal accepts 8 and 4 gauge wire.

I have a couple similar ones on a couple of my cars. The ring terminal part is actually pretty handy, if you need to add something later, you can stagger the ring terminals a bit and manage to fit a few wires on that part of the battery terminal. I will have to get a pic of some of the ones my friend sells, he owns an audio shop. He has some for 10.00 that ar pretty decent quality. I have a couple of his and some wayy more expensive phoenix gold ones, and i would say they all get the job done.
