currently old amp wiring was for an old setup,,just reused the 2g wiring from battery to sub/amp..whicj is deffintly overkill for that little amp..but i plane on just reusing thw wiring to go from trunk mounted batt to under hood which will be the 2g wire...i have leftover 4g that i was goin to use from the batt(in trunk) with new distobution terminals to go the tyhe sub/amp..since its only like 4 feet apart in the hatch area...sorry if ig got confusing*threadjacked*

but looks like the 2g should be ok from trunk/hatch to the main wiring under hood...

Yes, most would say 2-gauge is about ideal to go from the battery to the engine bay.
Sure, use the 4-gauge for the amp power. I was a bit confused.

It is preference. For the IRS cars, I would do a lightweight dry cell battery. I am unhappy with the heavy battery in the rear of my P10, now.

If I did a rear-mounted battery in the B14, I would use a heavy dry cell battery to just try and get more weight over the rear axles to help the beam rotate.
