They will still sale them. It will be an updated/improved design with a different name. You might still be able to get the 7kv's at a great price. Do a search on this forum for "7kv's on sale" or something like that and follow the link. I think they were like 1/2 price or something if they still have them. I've read about guys putting one of these badboys in a T-Line (Transmission Line) with awesome results.

Ok. I just checked and it looks like ED sold all of their 7kv backstock. The new ones are called the e3.6. They should hit there website any day now.

On a side note... I do have 2 in like-new condition that I will part with for $100 shipped for both.

Mazda 3 Stealth Box | Speaker Boxes | Subwoofer LOL

yea i know all about that one. but its a bit pricey for just the box then add the sub to that and yea. i could live with a single ED 6.5 sub in a small ported box up against the wall of my hatch or modded into the floor but still removeable to get my spare out.

If I get a b13 spare tire rim. We can work out some priceing if you are interested in a custom box.

That stealthbox is sweet and a bargain,IMO.It looks factory and probably is tuned perfectly for your interior, provided you buy a speaker within specs of the box.
Let me get this straight...you are gonna have a box built or modded into your floorboard for less than 100 bucks
I dont think so......and ported? yeah right.
Just materials alone for a SEALED box(3/4 MDF,Good carpet,screws,3M super 77 spray glue) will cost half that.Forget the labor to do it all if you have the tools.

Oh,I guess you could Use particle board, and go to walmart and buy elmers crap spray glue that wont hold the ****ty carpet you got there too
Still gonna cost 40 bucks to go that route....and labor,as mentioned.

Each to his own I guess.
You can put a crappy sub in a good box designed for it,and it will sound decent ...but you cant get good sound out of a crappy box,no matter what kind of speaker it is.
