Allot of trouble and fabrication would be involved in your suggestion a pulsar does not have the same mounting points on the gear box, neither does it have a cross member, and yes I absolutely need the 4wd. I am no longer concerned about the box lasting, I got some good tested info once the box is in good condition I dont use to aggressive a tyre and I either weld the case's weak points or add a brace from strarcher the box would last in the 400 torque range.
