Thread: Need help

I came across a good deal on a gtir motor but i never intend 2 go this route. The only thing it has no manifold n turbo but i have a t25 setup that i was going 2 use 4 my intial build. If i put it on the gtir motor wat problems may i run into? Or should i b aware of or may need extra. And also i had brought a ebay intercooler setup 4 the t25 setup n dont feel like i wasted my money so if its possible i like 2 use it . But if i cant let me kno. Thanks in advance

IIRCC the GTiR Turbo uses a t25 exhaust housing so you should be fine. Which exhaust manifold were you going to use?

Im not even 4 sure wat kind of manifold it is. I got it from my boy n im. new 2 the turbo game

Don't waste your money. You will never be able to find replacement parts for this motor, it is quite different from other sr20s. Just boost a stock sr20de and save yourself thousands of dollars and a huge headache.

@ will, its to late i just picked it up on wensday but i got a good deal 4 it. $600 for the motor harness,maf,computer and other stuff. But i hve 2 stock de's that im going 2 boost n take my time with. That motor is just to get the car going n hve some fun

I will keep you in mind once I upgrade @Ga16's. I got the engine, harness,ecu,and maf for gtir, now its the wiring part is my next mission. The harness looks alittle f**ked so im going to use my de harness but on that motor there is a sensor to the right of the oil filter, is that a oil pressure gauge? but on the left side of the oil filter is another sensor which I think is the oil pressure light and i plugged that in, correct me if im wrong? And under the intake manifold is that purple and brown connector but i have nothing to plug into the purple connector, where do I get that connector? And since im running my T25 setup for now on that engine do I have to do anything with those wires for the 02 sensor, its just three wire o2 that i have colors are red/black/white? And is it true that you dont use the air temp sensor?

See if you can get a w11 swap. Or a xtrail vet motor to swap into the shell as said before. These gtir motors are a pain

@sound boy, thanks. But i got her going n she's moves like a bat out of hell. I hve the t28 on there now and t3 sitting once i need more power but just need a manifold. But overall im happy with the motor, it takes alot of boost on stock internals.
