Short Block pics
I posted this in the turbo section, but it might have better chanses here:

Anyone by chanse happen to have seme pics of the lower end of the short block of an R? I need some refrance pics of the upper oil pan removed (ie: pics of the crank and bottom ends of the rods). I need to know if it is like the other DEs & DETs or like VEs. Basiclly is it of the wide or narrow form?

Thanks guys! And if I confused you with all the crazy talk no worries, the pics will help me out the most. FYI: this is so I can order a custom crank scrapper and windage tray.

crank journals wide size is the the same for all SR20 same BORE and STROKE just different counterweights, any SR20 block could use any SR20 crank, just need to make sure the balance of the counterweights are ok. the only difference between GTIR crank from the others is the weight and flywheel bolts, DE and RWD DET use 10mm wide bolts and GTIR use 12mm wide bolts.
Rods of GTIR are different than others use a unique 19mm wide rod bearings, the others SR20 use the same bearings 17mm wide rod bearings. so by the way rods of GTIR are stronger than DE or RWD DET but they are more heavy.

main journals are the same too, he only difference is that GTIR Block come with better main bearings, that allow more oil cause have more oil holes, but you can normally use any SR20 main bearing that you want.
