GTi-R woes
Well, it´s been 4 years since the swap was completed. I never could solve the high idle issue until a few days ago. Timing was set to 20 degrees adjusted TPS to .044 and finally got it to idle at 950rpm.

Now the car runs like sh*t. It studders badly under 3.5k rpm, after that it pulls good. around 3K I can hear the turbo running good, but the car doesn´t pull at all. Checked for leaks and it was ok.

Another thing I noticed is that when I touch the clutch pedal, the A/F ratio goes all the way to 10.0 and then slowly goes up to 14-15.

I am running blowthru, with FMIC and 1 bar mod, stock GTi-R ECU. This motor originally came with a chipped ECU that had a very wild setting. It would idle bad and pull like crazy from 6k rpm up to 11k rpm, so I reverted it to stock program. Could it be that it has some sort of aftermaket cams?

What injectors are in it?
Aftermarket BOV?
Recirculated?
Boost leak check the whole motor or just the IC piping?

Stock 444cc injectors with resistors attached, BOV is DSM 1st gen open with a blowthru MAF setup.
Boost leack checked by pressuring from inlet. No apparent leaks were found.

And what puzzles me is why A/F goes pig rich just touching the clutch pedal.

open/closed loop?

the clutch safety switch is possibly a trigger....which would mean your o2 sensor is probably bad

still running an OEM sensor along with your wideband?

I have the wideband and the OEM sensor. Datascan reads O2 sensor working well. BTW, mexican versions of SE-R´s don´t have the clutch switch, you can always turn on the car without pressing the clutch pedal.

I *might* have found some problem.. I was datalogging today, and as soon as I press the gas, timing goes to zero, slowly crawling up and got a CAS sensor code today. I think it might be a distributor issue.

i think that from stock the gti-r idles at a 1000rpm thats what mines idle at

Distributor changed, problem solved. Now to the next task.. the knock sensor code that never goes away.. even before the swap...
