GTi-R woes
Well, it´s been 4 years since the swap was completed. I never could solve the high idle issue until a few days ago. Timing was set to 20 degrees adjusted TPS to .044 and finally got it to idle at 950rpm.
Now the car runs like sh*t. It studders badly under 3.5k rpm, after that it pulls good. around 3K I can hear the turbo running good, but the car doesn´t pull at all. Checked for leaks and it was ok.
Another thing I noticed is that when I touch the clutch pedal, the A/F ratio goes all the way to 10.0 and then slowly goes up to 14-15.
I am running blowthru, with FMIC and 1 bar mod, stock GTi-R ECU. This motor originally came with a chipped ECU that had a very wild setting. It would idle bad and pull like crazy from 6k rpm up to 11k rpm, so I reverted it to stock program. Could it be that it has some sort of aftermaket cams?
