To tell you the truth, the premium people are paying for a GTR is absurd!!!

Even before the Gov decided to start cracking down, R34s were fetching upwards of 80k!!

I am a Nissan fan in and out, but when is common sense ever going to prevail?? The skyline was always destined for failure since day one considering all the legal Hopla you had to jump through.

I prefer to take my 80K and buy a Used Z06 and slap a supercharger onto that Honking 427!!

Wasn't sure you insisted on a C6 (smart man you are). The typical thing to do is get a C5 Z06 for $20k or less. I was budgeting $10k for supercharger and associated madness.

Well that puts a damper on things. I might have to wait til the R32 is 25 and import it. I also thought that if it was going to be a specialty vehicle there were ways about doing that as well?

Yes you can try to bring it in using the "Show and Display" law. I hope you're buddies with Bill Gates.

I love to see the GOV come and try to take my Pulsar away. Not quite sure that the GOV

is looking at them as they are the skyline but none the less they won't be taking it. I

would take a 10lb sledge hammer to every square inch of it before I see them take it.

Reading about that type of shit gets me boiling. A american citizen sits in his country

paying his taxes, doing what he thinks is right and by the next day his car is gone

because the GOV wants it. Crazy.

P.S. And I work for the GOV.

Chris.

If the law says its here illegally, there is absolutely NOTHING you can do (tax payer or not......a law is a LAW)........
I understand it pisses you off, but its not the government whos at fault here, its the idiots at Motorex. If you want to get all pissy, go find the owner of Motorex (well, I think he is serving time currently, so finding him should not be that hard HAHAHAHA )

But truth be told, if they have a law that says the Pulsar is illegal, good luck. If they feel the need to pursue, They WILL!!

Once skyline owners discovered the risk, they started to unload their property in abundance before the government finally tracked them down.

P.S. Ben didn't the "honking 427" comment give it away I was talking about the C6 chassis??

I didn't read anything past the word supercharger. I rarely ever do.

It's just interesting to me how GTi-Rs can be made legal to drive here but a GT-R cannot be. They are of similar vintages and and both unavailable in this country, yet one is here and the other is illegal. Hell, maybe I should just get a GTi-R and build a VE-T to go into it and call it a day. They don't call the car baby Godzilla for nothing. Hmmm
