Does the gtir use a external coil?

Well I have a b14 distributor on my pulsar motor right now. I was wondering how difficult it is to swap back to the pulsar dizzy? I want to run an external coil to allow for 2 step and hotter spark.

Yes, the GTi-R uses an external coil. Does that answer your question?
