Well I guess thats the problem with building an inherrantly JDM car here in the states, you won't be able to find parts. And if you do they won't come cheap. I guess I should know that by now since I previously paid $60 for a GTiR badge from GB for the rear of my car and $200 for a stock steering wheel from france! But I guess the up-side is that nobody else can get them either. lol

Thanks for the tip man, unfortunately I tried that avenue already. going to their old URL only leads you to a search page, the tell tale sign that the page has gone to internet heavin! lol

jesus christ some people take the p!ss with what they sell stuff for, i know its abit late now but i would've given you the badge for postage and the last steering wheel i had i sold for £50 ($100)

if you need anything else give me a shout, same with anyone else after stuff for a gtir, i've got a garage full of ****e that i make very little effort to get rid of as i have a strong dislike for 99% of the people that own the car in the uk and cant be doing with dealing with them..lol

biggest hassle is the shipping cost when you have to pay dollars converted to the uk price

If you could locate a stock GTiR turbo in good condition that would be cool. I did'nt swap in a GTiR motor but I can get it as close as I can! lol

i could get you one but in all honesty, if you cant find a used one in the states, you'd be better buying a new turbo on your side of the pond, most t28s in usable condition go for £300ish, ($600) by the time you add shipping (at a guess $100-$150) you wont be a million miles away from buying a new journal bearing turbo over there.

and you'd definately know its 100% ok if you brought it new.

clicky

Yeah, your 100% right about that! Whats the spec on a GTiR turbo any way? can you run more pounds on them than a T25? Or is it not any more effiecent to do so? You can run 10-12 on the stock bluebird t25. Where does the T28 max out at?

i had good results at 18-20psi on a 360degree bearing, (260bhp at all four) some have pushed them further.

most people run them at 14 psi which is an easy upgrade on a gtir.
