Im a murderer!!
Some of you guys especially Mr. Miko know about my problem. I thought my timing chain was stuck, but my problem is way worse. So I finally got around to pulling the motor out of my car. My first time YAAAaaEEEHHH.

So I look into the exhaust ports on the head and I say to myself why are these skinny metal tube looking things in the port and they look like they where broken. I say to myself aww **** I know these are not the valves. Plz lord this cant be. So I turned the crank pulley and look again I see the other half of the skinny tube looking thing. I get some gum made it nice and sticky. Reach inside with a flat head with the gum on the end. Magnet wouldnt work.

So I Pull up on it and I see the Flat surface. Its the damn valve all of them are broken. The one I can see on the exhaust side.

I feel like a straight asshole, I cant believe I broke them. This was from tryin to start the car.

Thats why timing is soo important, always double check your work when it comes to that, hell ive done them probably a hundred times and still double and triple check everything. Sorry for your loss, im sure the pistons probably suffered some damage.

Always turn the motor over by hand after u do any serious work to make sure everything spins smoothly. If you turned the motor over by hand you would of felt the pistons hit the valves and known something was wrong. I thought that was a rule of thumb.

You might get more $$ if you take the engine apart and sell it to a scrap dealer as a pile of aluminum and a pile of steel. Or, if the crank is good, sell that to someone on the forum.
