ACL Bearings
A guy over on the old forum asked this yesterday, and it's a good questions for those that might not know:
"is it possible to go with acl standard rod bearings on a de insted of getting the bearing grade #'s. i was told that if i couldnt find the bearing grade #'s, that i can just go with std acl's. is this true. if so, then why doesnt every body just go with acl's instead of finding the #'s."
The awnser someone gave was:
"If you want to build a tight race engine you would probably want to go with the exact grade. Tighter tolerances make more power. But if your not going full on race I youll be fine with the standard ACL's. I hope this make sence."
I actully was wondering about this because I was going to swich out all my bearings soon when I rebuild my bottom end and was going to go with ACL WPC treated bearings. So what did you guys that have ACL bearings do when getting your bearings?
