leaking 300zx maf
anyone leak before? wondering what people have used to seal up the maf. As soon as i boost leak test it, it starts to leak

these plastic MAFs are not ment to be boosted. Silicone will not stop the leak. If you keep on boosting it the crack will just get bigger.

So what are your recommendations for people with z32 mafs and blow through?

Just make sure it doesnt leak before you buy it...

A few people have had that issue happen. It will seal back up easily with some silicone or rubber sealant. Miko, its not a crack in the maf itsself that people have problems with. Ive never heard of one of these crack from boost. They have problems with the top part where the glue holds the maf element into the housing...

use silicone and a cat man metal maf adapter. i have 0 problems with my blow threw.

Id spend a couple bucks on some silicone before I spent...how much are those things like $200 or something...on a piece of metal. I myself have never had that problem with my Z32 maf. Ive been blow through the entire time ive had the DET.
