Thread: Megan OE Muffler

anyone try this megan OE muffler?
you guys think its worth it?

I dont think anyone has tried it yet, but you should. It looks nice.

i been looking for a nice muffler like that for some time now.

My boy back homeh as one on his 200sx. His is a 3" inlet. He has it mated up to a 2.5" exhaust and a Fuji header on his VE motor. Sounds really nice and deep.

Another friend of mine has it on his turbo NX with a 3" exhaust and it sounded nice as well. Actually very quiet on the turbo car.

Hmm...Since it is 3" inlet,I would like to try it on my VE mated to a VRS 3" piping kit .I will be running a 2.5 SSAC.

Where can I find a deal on that muffler?They are on ebay,but is that the cheapest?I also foung that vibrant one in black.

they got 2 versions
2.5" inlet and a
3.0" inlet.

someone needs to find out the acual length of this thing. i spent a few minutes last night finding sound clips online and it is DEAD silent at idle...even reving at idle its silent, deep mellow tone during take off tho.


the specs i have found are as follows;
-3.5" tip w/silencer (i like it has a silencer so 000000000 drone on long highway trips)
-2.5" inlet
-total lenght 18"
-body width 10"
-and 6.5" high

i need to know if the body is 18" or if that is including the length of the tip. i want to put this on my mazda3 and i think this is the perfect muffler for jensen too but nx's are not "giant muffler" friendly.
