Thread: B&M shifter question

I just bought a used B&M short shifter off a member of the other forum. I was looking at the parts and the directions he sent me and it doesn't add up. Here is a pic of what I received.

My question is do I use the stock pivot bushing that fits in the metal sleeve shown in the next picture or should there have been a bushing with the kit?

You are missing the bushing. The B&M comes with its own center piece to completely replace the old bushing. My old bushing was so sloppy it is important to replace it.

Any chance your or someone else has a pic they can send me so I can send the guy a pic. I have already told him about the issue and he sent me a piece of copper sleeve that I have no idea what it goes to and doesn't even look like it works with the B&M.
