I ran into the same problem when me and DC scotty were installing these in his nx, nuthing lined up because it raised everything up a finger nail lenght. apperently you have to heat up the egr pipe and bend it to strech it out for it to fit. DC tried and tried for hours but we were no able to do it, luckly we had a nismo block off kit and called it a day. of course that was after arguing with scotty for hours to use the kit

How do you think it would work if I cut the EGR pipe and used some high temperature braided hose to give it some flexibility? I could probably even flare the pipe ends to ensure a good connection.

Thanks for your response.

Great idea billc! As long as it can withstand the exhaust temps, I think it would work just as well.

Having a JDM high port motor solved a lot of problems for me, as for my USDM low port, I only installed the first two spacers hehe

i dont see why it wouldnt work..as long as theres no leaks present it should work fine. thats actually a very good idea.....hell i dont know why i didnt think of that lol.. i have a det so i didnt have to worry about that when i installed mine. but i might keep a note of that if i install another set in another DE with EGR

Maybe you can make a new nut - custom one. It should follow the same idea as the original nut but a bit longer so it can compensate the difference you are facing because of the spacers. I mean the nut which connects the EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold.
It is not that the hose won't do the work. Cut the pipe, extend it. But it should be able to handle the heat well.

I've had a set of spacers for a couple years but never got around to installing them. I'll post back if I ever give a try to using high temp hose.
