That was a false statement, he use to comment about them on his part of the Sr20forum. He said at the time when he went from the fuji to the charles header (Sr20Turbofreak is the guy who makes them and greg buys them from him) he made no hp at all. It stayed the same, he said that it needed to be tuned but still haven't seen anything. That alot of money for no gain so watch out"

Can someone confirm or disagree?

Peace

There are alot of variables that go along with that. I don't know what greg's setup was at the timeof the dyno, he might not have been making enough power to really benefit from Charles' header. Also, which design was it? Charles went through quite a few designs to figure out what made decent power, alot of R&D.

well with the 12:1 cr, 2.2L ve build im doing we are using the ssac primaries port matched to the head as close as we can get them, then where it necks to two at the secondary we are going to open them up as big as possible, take the flange from the secondary and cut the secondaries off and have a nice piece of 3" manderal bent piping welded onto that and then run it back to where the cat attaches, there wont be an exahust on there for now so its gonna probably be very loud but hey i bet it will flow very very well all the way to the 9k redline and probably make a hell of a lot more power than a 4-2-1. It should suffice well with the setup. Dont have the money for a $1k race hearder. haha
