^^^IMpressive. I guess Honda had enough of the Honda motors suck for boost comments. I'm wondering how much power the K23 in the RDX can make.

Honda could give two shіts about that. They wanted to build a present to themselves for a job well done and didn't cut [m]any corners with the S2k. They made an impressive motor and wanted it to last.

I heard recently it has weak rods and can't take much more than factory boost (300 WHP or so being a limit tossed around). I'm not up on the K23 much though. The K20 and K24 Frankenstein motors we all know can handle tons of boost in "stock" form.

^^^LOL You work in Honda R&D ? I was just bigging them up for making something more boost friendly then the older motors they have out. Relax killer. I agree it is an impressive motor if it can take that type of abuse.

The plan for this engine is still in tact. However, the project is many years ahead. I have the Sentra to finish, then another daily to buy, and then I will build this car. I'll be buying a house and have some children before the car this thread was about gets started I'm sure.

As for the 2.2L that moves us up to 660WHP territory so I'm liking the 2.0L idea better.
So the 20V head I hear so much about, this is a 20 valve VE head? If so, really, a 20 valve head that's not crap? And one with VVL?
I'm thinking the price of the VET head gets us way off course so maybe we should nix that idea.

The thing is though, when you bore the motor so muc you will be increasing your efficiency (ie..power/liter) because your deshrouding the valves and increasing flow.....

Cliff there are things I've said throughout my life such as "I will never do _____." Or "I will do ______."
And I have a very good track record of following through. This will happen. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not next year. But it will happen.
