everything i know is first hand and you would be surprised as to how many myths are on the forum

I never actually got the chance to run 4 bar on my car But I have ran like 3.5bar at idle and the pump did just fine going up the RPM range. That was only at like 7lbs though. Anyone trying to run 4 bar on the stock pump is just dumb lol. Thats where the "Walbros are only $100" should come in lol. So I think we can safely say that if your under 300whp then your stock fuel pump is just fine. Replace it if its old. Thats about it.

Forced Comp: out of curiousity when is the maf maxxed out? When it touches 5 volts? Never actually looked. Highest Ive seen on my Z32 Maf is 4.05...

pretty much 5v maybe a lil more, just watch your air flows as long as your timing is conservative you dont have much to worry about!

I have a question cant fuel pumps weaken over time? That might be a good reason to switch to a walbro. When I changed to a walbro fuel pump on my B13 it felt like it made a difference, even tho I have no solid evidence it did. Or could be that the fuel pump was originally feeding a GA16, but I thought they were the same pump....

i wouldnt run the risk esp when playing with fuel, its not that the stock pump cant handle the power, but it wasnt designed with a turbo application in mind, there are many different benifiits of a walbro fuel pump, one would be like ben said the higher pressure.

I would be willing to bet that the GTi-R uses ther same stock fuel pump as the NX and SE-R...
