Yeah for only $100 you can have a Walbro. But as Robj80 already said...if it aint broke why **** with it. The stock fuel pump WILL flow.

Tokes, My Wideband showed 11.9-12.0 (what its tuned for) accross the board with the stock pump. This was on 15 to even 17lbs. It never ran lean because the pump couldnt supply enough fuel. If it ever ran lean it was because it wasnt tuned right. The stock fuel pump CAN and will supply enough fuel for at least 300whp easily. Funny thing is...I didnt need to change the tune on the car either when I swapped the Walbro in. All I had to do was turn down the pressure. That tells me that the stock pump wasnt straining to keep the pressure up where it needed to be. The real question is...who here has actually had a stock pump fail pushing the limits of HP? Cause Ive been on this forum and the old one for years and Ive never once heard of a person complaining that they needed to swap the stock one out because it couldnt supply enough fuel. Think about it.

hes right i too have an greddy 18g on my set up with teh stock fuel pump and i have been putting it off for a while to install and i have yet to go lean because my fuel pump couldnt keep up, im pretty sure the saying the stock fuel pump fails at 10psi is a myth... now when i go up to 20psi ill make sure i put my pump in

jonny this is nyc sr20powerd! i told u that 18g turbo is no ****ing jokeee

We have tried and anything after 11.5psi from a T25 setup the car just go lean, doesn't matter how much fuel you add to the maps, it just go lean (clear symptom of fuel pump maxed out)

So I say is good for 235whp or so.

Thats not a clear sign that your fuel pump is maxed out. Thats a clear sign that somethings maxed out. It couldve been your injectors or a clogged fuel filter or anything.

Im not talking out of my ass here. My stock fuel pump has seen 17-18psi a few times and 15psi on a daily basis for a while and I had no issues with not being able to run a consistent 12.0:1 a/f ratio. My Setup Consisted of a JWT Fuel rail, MSD 50lbs injectors, Nismo AFPR, the stock fuel pump, stock 3 bar fuel pressure and stock lines with a new stock fuel filter(not Z32). To add to that lol my fuel pump had 241,000 miles on it before I swapped it out!

Ive also noticed that the b14 fuel pump is smaller then the b13 which is why we have to run the walbro "sock" when we put the walbro in. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Maybe B13 pumps actually flow alot more then b14's.

I think B13 pumps are more efficient, but thats just me. The 11.5psi thing was on a B13 avenir swap, stock setup, stock cams, clean injectors, B13 MAF, and a brand new K&N filter. On a side note, that was on 4th gear pulls, i think on 3rd gear pulls it was able to hold a lil bit more psi on the stock pump.

IMO, i think is a waste of time to swap fuel pump with a t25 setup, if you wanna go bigger you might as well upgrade the fuel pump to stay on the safe side.

on 235whp...? I think the stock MAF is capable of more like 260whp or so, but it could be, I will check the MAF voltage on my boys car as soon as I see him.

Sure, the car has an emanage so ill be able to log MAF voltage under boost at 4th gear.

I don't think you can run 4 bar fuel pressure on the stock fuel pump.

Nice... at least your basing it on first hand and not what you heard. First hand experience is important. I ran the stock pump on my t25 setup and never went past 10lbs for principle. I changed to the walbro and a fpr because I knew I was changing to a larger injector setup at 4bar. I didn't do any logging, just did it for safekeeping.
