Interesting! I like how they mentioned '99 ones have higher/worse emissions. Just like our 98/99 models hehe.

I think this will definitely benefit those of us using Forced Induction setups. I hadn't thought about the PCV valve only being a one-way valve. Makes perfect sense to bypass it, or get a bigger catchcan to pick up the blow-by.

This is how I read it for the turbo guys...

Remove PCV valve, insert fitting (to accomodate breather filter).

Cap off other end of line on intake manifold that went to PCV valve.

Run one line from other end of valve cover down to block, eliminate catch can (if it can't be used.) Run line from other nipple on same side of valvecover to another catch can. Put filter on other end of catchcan.

Make sense?

I'm gonna test some stuff out tomorrow.

I will be going on a ~300 Mile trip, on the way there I will have to deal with DC Traffic, same on the way back, until like 60 miles from my house. There is a Shell gas station that I like to fuel up at (cheaper prices then at home haha).

When going from this gas station to my house, I once gotten 38 MPG, right after I side gapped and indexed my BKR6E-11's and just installed a PCV Oil Catch Can.

Another thing I should add, I just did a compression test, and it seems like all my cylinders are around 150psi. I did two cylinders with added oil and got 175-180 PSI.

Now lately my car hasn't been feeling as peppy. So what are the odds that after I pretty much eliminated any oil in going into the Intake Manifold that my compression went down due to worn out injectors?
