BTW a 3D animator is not the same as Graphic Designer, as your own 'profolio' can attest to.

The truth in Design has nothing to do with ego, but we have to stop patting people on the back and saying "good job" when it lackluster in effectiveness and does a disservice to our image.

And design is visual communication, not art. BFA in '97 over here...

I'm not knocking your 3D work, I can't do any of that stuff.

But its not the same medium AT ALL.

Louis, your designs are great, I hope Crim makes the right decision and goes with them. Your work is always top notch. Remember, the reason we all liked the sr20 forum was because of its simplicity, wed don't need any 3d, or full page pictures at the top...keep it simple.

i don't really give a shit , as long as no adware is overrunning the pages.....some adware is ok, but not to the point where you cant even search threads without weeding thru shit....

Wow, that really means a lot, thanks...I'm not really trying to piss on anyone's ego, I just want to our image be representative of the top-notch people we have any here.

I always wanted the old forum to have some kind of identity other than the 'jangly keys.'

But I do like understated...i'd even be for removing the car images altogether and just having a type treatment. But I'm sure the majority likes eye candy.:o
