Seafoam is too dry... You need something more oily....

I really dont think that the cardboard and hammer is a good idea..
Unless you use something much softer between the cardboard and the pintals.
Several Layers of towels maybe... But, I personally wouldnt do it...
You may damage the spray head or deform the tiny spray holes!!

Oh.. I almost forgot this!!

Another Alternative...
You can really cheat on this!!

Just send the whole rail to the injector service for cleaning and testing.
They will properly remove the injectors, throughly clean them, replace the filter & pintals,
and do a performance test on them. Then ship them back to you in nice little ziplock bags..
Will cost about $50-$60 for the set IIRC..

Wish i read that five mins ago lol, it didnt look like i really did any damage to the injector, the holes still look exactly like they did before i hit and pulled them out. just broke the plastic pieces though

Yep... I changed it.... trying to convince you to NOT USE A HAMMER ! !

PATIENCE is the key...

Call Tim. I know he has Nissan & Infiniti OEM Injector parts. Not sure of others...

Put the 2 screws that held the cap back in and then lightly pry up with 2 small flatheads.

Their is an easy way to take out these injs with just a large flat head screwdriver.

I really need a digital Camera. I showed a few guys how simple it is and they freaked out.

Yep, you can ask this man. I can remove all 4 injs in less than 20 sec. If you guys see how easy this is to do you will be shocked. It is very simple.

If someone can get a Digital camera man to hang out with me for a day I could start a how to do section.
