Thread: B13 Brake Upgrade To Nissan Altima Brakes.

As the title states, I have been searching and searching and i have not found anything on this, I was wondering if anyone on here has tried it or not.

i have done the Nx2000 upgrade in the front, and i currently have altima rear brakes as they are the same as the maxima's.

I was wondering if the front brakes of an altima would fit the b13 front brake system and still clear the stock 15inch rims, i know i would have to re-drill the rotors to make the bolt pattern for the b13 hub.

Not trying to thread jack, but what year altima brakes fit the B13s?

im actually thinking of doing the upgrade, but im guessing 94 or 95

Maybe they will fit. The previous owner of my B13 had S14 front calipers installed and they fit perfect.

yea but did they fit oem 15's?

i dunno i had 16 inch wheels, were good to fit ad22's

well i have the ad22's on but im lacking stopping power when it comes to slowing down at the end of the track im noticing the car isnt braking as good as it should, i have inspected all the brakes, the brake pads are meaty, and not glazed, i think its time for an upgrade.

the ad22's are great for track duty. Just have fresh high temp brake fluid bled throughly with stainless lines. Pads are very important aswell.

im not arguing the fact that they arent great i like how the ad22's grip but im also going up in power and i will need something to slow my behind down quicker. i dont think the ad22's would handle 400+hp

Altima's use 11" rotors, there calipers are like the B15 se-ser and P11's. easiest way to go about this is the same as the 300zx conversion but using the altima/p11/b15 se/ser front calipers. if your willing to switch over to the 4X114 bolt pattern this would be easier.

as for them being better than the AD22's I can't confirm that. Bigger brakes from a bigger car seems like a + to me.

I had a B15 SE 11" front caliper and Maxima rears before and I kept it 4x114 bolt pattern. I didn't really get a chance to test it cause my bearing was bad and I couldn't stand the noise.
