Thread: What Disk is this?

I just bought a clutch setup and I realized the disk does not look like a act disk.

This is the disk that I'm going to get.


and this is what a ACT disk should look like.


LMK what you think, I'm kinda pissed and confused.

well there are a few different ways on telling you why they don't look the same(meaning they aren't the same in my eyes)

did you buy it from a local member
did you buy from abey
did you buy from a online store.....

tell us where you bought it?..i hope im making sense...because...a few drinks + threads= ...funny post lmaooo

i just rea;ozed isn't your car turboed?..if it is and this clutch is going in the car ...i think people suggest using the 6 puck ACT sprung ....i think...then again i cant really even spell correctly right now haha

there is obvious differences in the constructions between he actual act disc and the one you are getting, what type of power are you looking to make with this?

i just bought it off a forum member. Didn't see the other disk till today. And yes my car is turboed and I'm not putting a 6puck in it. To harsh for a t25. He is kinda local but not worth the drive to pick it up also.

about 10lbs on a t25 so im thinking 220?

what type of pressure plate? i sure you will want power, personally i dont think my 6 puck is bad for daily driving, altho personally i dont daily drive it, its all a matter of prefrence, but that disc ''should'' hold up

Heavy Duty Pressure Plate. And I meant harsh as in for the actual tranny lol not the person. Rob (se-rican) told me to get a act street disk, hes pretty knowledgeable lol. But the guy said he bought it new in the package and thats how it came, maybe they changed there disks???

yeah i notched that, and it should have 4 springs not 6 lol and they should be yellow. But did they possibly change there design?? I think i might play it safe and get my money back :/
