Speaking of conventions... how's that Florida convention coming? You know, the one that's supposed to take place at the same time as the Vegas convention.

Well it made no sense to do it because that one will be a ghost town. We still got our little meet going on in September that will most likely draw more SERs than the National convention of 08.

Aint that some ****.

*sigh*...my car prolly still wont be road worthy then. i could hot lap around the track in my f150 or my altima i suppose. either way.....the wife and i have been talking about this since joe first mentioned throwing one in GA. again....let me know if there is anything ican do to help.

You should have 2 or 3 from north Alabama and at least 1 I know of from Tennessee.

Same here! My brother just moved down to GA too. So, I get free hotel stay.

This is the kind of convention I would sign up for. Great work Happynole. As long as there's a couple month notice (say posted end-sept, due end-oct) I would DEFINITELY pay for track time or entry fee or whatever up-front.

Also, any fundraisers, like t-shirts (2XL-3XL please) would be cool too.
