Yeah, well it makes it easier for me to just order a new part off the web, then to go on scavange hunt in the yard.

Which btw I went through a thick magazine of O2 sensors in Autozone, looking for a 4 wire connector at the time. There are plenty of sensors hehe, but unfortunately they didn't sell the connectors alone...

Keo, gotta bring this back up...
Are you running 3 fans because your NX had over heating problems? I have these 2 10" pushers from siliconeintakes.com on mine and they're just not cutting it. Car runs at like 210-215 and looking at my gauge just makes me nervous even though the temp isn't THAT high. but if I'm on the freeway too long or I don't keep enough space between me and the person ahead my temps climb in a hurry

Switch to 12" fans and add 1/2 bottle (not a full bottle) of Water Wetter..
Your temps will drop to 185-190 (or whatever thermostat you installed).
Even in Rush traffic at 95+ temps with a/c on... This combination does wonders!!

^^ DC traffic sucks. My car usually runs at 180 on highway, but DC traffic got my car up to almost 220 hehe.

It was a hot day though.

Well I've decided to just keep the stock fans until they die, then slim fans here I come. I do want to make a fail safe for the O2 sensor. Don't want it to get cut off hehe.

Using a Full bottle drops the coolant temps way tooo much ! !
Thats great for the summer heat, but in the winter you wont have much heat !

Never tried purple ice but Water Wetter is very good. Ive used it in several cars with success..

Usually, overheating is a result of a bad thermostat, bad fans, bad temp sensor, bad radiator cap, air in the system, or improper mix of coolant.

If your antifreeze is old: I would flush the systemm, add new Zerex G-05 coolant (no phosphates; thus less clogging in radiator), and bleed the system with a new lower temp thermostat.
