No I didn't mention it because I just bought the whole kit as it was cheaper than buying the three that I knew of seperately.

If it's the same setup as my A/T P11, then it has a mount that looks like the pass. side mount. It's not a dogbone style, it's more round. I guess to absorb any shift shock from the A/T shifting.

Yep. The automatics does not have a dogbone. The crossmember does not have the mount for it.

I actually installed the prothane kit on my automatic.
Removed them immediately as the whole car vibrated terribly with automatics...
This is due to the automatic is always in-gear.
So... at stop lights, in traffic, in reverse, in park, the car is in-gear and vibrates terribly...
In manual cars, the clutch is punched when stopped and not in-gear,
a luxury that automatics dont have (other than pushing the gear shift into Neutral).

I also added the front dogbone and changed the crossmember.
The auto tranny torque causes hard tranny gear jerking whenever gears are changing..
So, I also removed the front dogbone too.

So unless you want to shake to death , I would recommend selling or returning your prothane mount kit
and changing your mounts with new OEM rubber mounts. IMO, Prothanes mounts are for Manual cars only.
The new OEM mounts will last for about 7 years hopefully .

Or install the prothane mounts and let me know how you like them. It may work better on the SER chassis. I have an NX2000.

You could always do the favorite "half" install by installing stiffer mounts on the driver's side and passenger's side, but the front and back mounts replace with OEM. I never understood this though, as the front and back mounts are the ones important to upgrade if you want to stop the engine from moving (and explains why these are the ones that increase the vibration). *shrug*

Yep Ben... I tried that too...
Put OEM rubber mounts on Front & Back and Prothane on Driver & Passenger. Big time vibrations continued (no change) !
Removed the Front Rubber mount, Got better a little but still vibrated bad.
Then tried swapping out the Driver/Passenger mount for OEM's. No change.
So, I had to install all 3 OEM mounts.

Prothane bushings works well on Automatics..
But unfortunately, NOT the motor mounts..

BTW Ben, I maybe in your area next month visiting family. Going to Sumter & Camden.. It gets very boring at night and I usually go to Columbia for some fun..

I hate to say it, but at night I'm not really a fun guy. Just a young guy pretending to be a family man. =]
If it's a weekend and you have something in mind we could whip up something to do (car related or otherwise) or rock it low key.

Well I already have the the prothanes so I am going to install them this week. I will just have to see if the vibrations are too much for me. I am not too worried about it though as a previous car I had only had solid mounts.

also when you do this you cannot i repeat you cannot press out the inner ring! the automatic mounts are diffrent. i did them on my sentra that was auto at the time and when i pressed the ring with the rubber the prothane just went straight in and straight out the other side! lol..

you have to try and press just the rubber, burn it, cut it whatever but you have to leave the ring on..

on manual cars you can press the ring out.. guess they are a tad smaller??
