yeah i ment that you have either skipped a tooth on installation, or maybe someone before you in japan installed some cams and you just didnt know it. as the stock cam figure is quite good

Quite possible. Matter of fact, wasn't there a thread on the other site where a forum member received a motor with HKS cams? I don't remember 100%, but I'm pretty sure that's what I saw.

Are you running out of gas? On my NX with S4's and the stock fpr and pump, it definitly ran out of gas at about 4500. Felt flat and even sluggish. Dyno testing showed way lean conditions just about the time the S4's started to "hit". Once I installed a Walbro 190, a Nismo afpr, and fuel pressure gauge I could see I was below spec. Bumped it up a few psi, and the motor came alive. I haven't had a chance to get back on the dyno, but I can definitly tell a difference.

Honestly, I have no idea.

There are a few things that you can cancel out.

1. These motors come with a B14 stlye distributor.
2. They have unpainted Valve covers.
3. They have valve cover studs (no nuts)
4. All the ones I have seen have been Manual.

There is an Aussie guy here on the forum who has one. If we can find him we can get him to take some picks.

The problem with these motors is that they are just based off of stock motors. They are just 11 to 1 compression and larger cams on the inside.

The rest of the HP upgrades are ECU and and 2.25 exhaust.

I should be dynoing by the end of this month. I also think that it may be running lean too only the dyno will tell.
