Idling issue..no lower then 950rpm
For the longest time I could never get my car to idle at the stock 750rpm. The lowest it will go is 950rpm leaving me with a semi-rough idle. I've adjusted the IACV countless time and cleaned it out a bunch as well, and still the same result. Do I have a vacuum leak somewhere?

How's your timing? Too advanced could cause this. Also, stock idle is 850 rpm, not 750.

Just did the timing month or two ago. Was set at 15 degrees.

Im having a similar issue, its idling rough, but I do hear a little whistle kick on every once in a while... I might have a vacuum issue

Mine wont idle below 950-1000 also, I have replaced the iacv with a known working unit and no change. I'm sure I have a vac leak somewhere, just havent had the time to check.

Anyone have a solution...or some sort of suggesting besides timing? Us brotha's need some help.

What about the PCV valve? Also how would be test from a vacuum leak?

Is the throttle plate kept open for any reason? Is the throttle cable too tight, or is the set screw in too much, causing the throttle to rest open a bit?

air issues are pretty easy to find. check iacv, aac valve, throttle, pcv valve, hoses, all the mechanical parts of the air regulation assembly..
