You cannot use the regular DE bearings with the GTiR rods. Here's why. The bearings on the GTiR are 19mm and not 17mm, so the alignment tang is not in the same location. You could put the 17mm bearing in there but it will not sit center in the rod.
Here shows the difference between the stock SR20 bearings and the GTiR bearings I am using. The rods have to be machined for the bigger bearing.

Here is the pics of the cometic. It looks like a nice piece, just the alignment dowels on the gasket are a little loose. Hope the pics help.

The stock gasket fits snug on these dowels, but the cometic is just a little loose. I dont' think it is a big deal, I have had zero issues.
